John Byatt, local cabbie and Tommy Cooper impersonator, is raising money for the proposed Addenbrooke's Helipad by entertaining his passengers and taking on a trek in Thailand.
John's 10-day Golden Triangle Hill Tribe Trek will take place in October.
John said: "It should be quite a challenge but it is for a really good cause. All the money I raise will go towards building a helipad in the grounds of Addenbrooke's Hospital which will cut down on response times. It will help save lives and it could be mine."
