The Pink Rose Valentine's Appeal for breast cancer research is launched at a reception hosted by Mary Archer

On Wednesday 14 January 2009 the Pink Rose Valentine's Appeal was officially launched at a reception held by Mary Archer. The Appeal is raising money for breast cacner research asks people to 'give a little love' at Valentine's, or any other time throughout the year by hosting a dinner, cocktails party, singles night or other event and asking guests to make a donation to the cause. |
Keeping with the pink theme rosé wine and pink apple juice were served at the reception and each guest was given an individual pink rose. Supporters at the reception included Olivia Newton-John, Patricia Hodge, Donald Sinden, Tania Bryer, and Andrew Lansley, Shadow Secretary for Health.
