Sawston Fun Run 2010 supports PICU

7 April 2010

The 25th annual Sawston Fun Run is supporting the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Addenbrooke's

The Sawston Fun Run & Walk has supported different areas within Addenbrooke's over many years, and this year PICU hopes that the event will raise enough funds to enable them to purchase a state-of-the-art wireless portable monitor, which will help the team to monitor children safely in transport both to and from regional hospitals, and within Addenbrooke's.

The Sawston Fun Run & Walk course is a flat five-mile course in Sawston, south of Cambridge. It is open to runners and walkers of all ages, and is pushchair, wheelchair and dog friendly.

The 25th Sawston Fun Run will take place on Sunday 9 May 2010 and anyone and everyone is encouraged to take part in an enjoyable day of fundraising. For more information and to enter go to www.sawstonfunrun.co.uk.
