Raising money for Premrose

Karen Hayes is the Neonatal Dietitian on the Neonatal Unit at the Rosie Hospital. Karen cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats in July along with Wayne, Will, Ivan, Darren and Catherine, who joined in to raise money for Premrose.

Karen said: "The opportunity arose for us to take part in this cycling challenge and at the same time raise money for Premrose. Premrose provides invaluable support to the Neonatal Service in Cambridge through fundraising to help with the purchase of specialist equipment to help care for the babies. Babies with a variety of medical and surgical problems are admitted to the Neonatal Unit from all over the East of England. Premrose offers help and support for their families whilst they are on the Neonatal Unit."

Karen and the team cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats over 12 days averaging 75 – 90 miles a day. She said: "We finished our Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle last Friday, and we had a fab time!"
